Evanston residents deserve a well-run city, and I’ll make sure they get it.”

My commitment to you
Providing Evanston city staff with the leadership, support and tools they need to do their jobs effectively and provide the level of service Evanston residents deserve.
Focusing on the needs of Evanston—not on my next political position.
Working effectively with the City Council to strengthen its voice on behalf of all Evanston residents.
Serving only the two-year term to “right the ship”—not using the Mayor’s office as a platform for another term, another elected office or a private position.
Why I’m running
In early 2027, Evanston residents will elect a Mayor to complete the two years remaining in the term being vacated by Daniel Biss. This election comes at a critical time for Evanston and requires leadership focused on the immediate needs of Evanston residents—not on political ambitions.
I believe good government depends on capable leadership, professional management and a shared commitment to public service. After more than three decades of serving Evanston, I understand what it takes to move the city forward, work effectively with the Council and get things done.
I am running for Mayor to right the ship, focus on Evanston’s immediate needs and make sure our city government works for the people it serves.
